May 27, 2010 — Saturday the 15th of May brought warm temperatures and sunshine for Lisa and Damian’s wedding at the Clinton United Methodist Church. The couple exchanged their vows in a heartfelt ceremony in front of family and friends, and then celebrated their marriage with a lively reception at “Where Friends Meet” in Clinton. The evening was full of food, fun and music, and the couple and their guests were treated to a performance courtesy of Best Man, Tyson Service, who displayed his fantastic dancing skills to the song, “Ice, Ice Baby”. What a great memory!
Lisa & Damian, thank you for allowing us to capture your special day.
May 19, 2010 — Betty and I are in Chicago for the Midwest Expo, this our third year at this workshop put on by the Illinois Videographers Association. The speaker lineup is amazing, we are learning from some of the best wedding and event film makers in the country. The knowledge base they are willing to share with us has been incredible and we are returning to Michigan with some fantastic new techniques. It has been a fun and productive visit and also has given us a chance to renew old friendships and make some new ones.
May 18, 2010 — The second weekend in May found us again at St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Livonia filming Marie and Tony’s wedding. The couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful and moving ceremony. The weather was unpredictable with periods of sunshine and rain, but nothing could dampen the spirits of the wedding party. We finished the day with the reception at the Meadowbrook Country Club, which added elegance to the already stunning footage of Marie and Tony’s special day.
Marie and Tony, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day. You are a wonderful couple and we wish you a lifetime of happiness – the best is yet to come!
May 12, 2010 — Candice and James exchanged their vows before family and friends at St. Kenneth’s Catholic Church in Plymouth. Skies threatened all day, but the rain held as we traveled to Belle Isle and Comerica Park to shoot some remarkable footage of the wedding party. The reception at St. Mary’s Cultural Center featured great food, music and even the Polish Wedding March. It was great fun! Candice and James, you were a joy to work with and we thank you and your families for allowing us to film your special day.
May 5, 2010 — Beautiful St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pinckney provided the perfect setting for the wedding of Chris and Erin Russell. The skies threatened but the rain held off as the couple exchanged their vows before family and friends from both near and far. Guests were invited to join in celebrating with them at Crystal Gardens in Howell for an evening of dining and dancing, led by DJ Emmet Muckles, that lasted late into the night. Chris and Erin, you and your families were so much fun to work with and we wish you all the best!
