January 31, 2016 — Patty and K.C.’s wedding was very special for us. Patty was a team member of ours and worked side by side with us as we filmed so many wedding days. She finally got a chance to get out from behind the camera and become the bride. Her wedding day was amazing from start to finish and left us wanting more.
We began preparations at the Dearborn Inn where Patty and her excited bridesmaids began getting ready for the day. The wedding downtown at the historic and beautiful St. Aloysius Catholic Church was taken as if from a fairy tale. There was beautiful music, a fabulous wedding party and a special ceremony officiated by K.C.’s grandfather.
The photo session with one of our favorite photographers, Holly Green from Green Weddings, featured a couple of stops downtown, including the train station which offered some amazing backdrops with the late afternoon sun. The reception at the Colony Club left us breathless, from the couples entry, to the toasts and some really special dances. It was indeed a night to remember and the perfect video keepsake. Patty and K.C. thank you for allowing us to capture your special day and may all the happiness in the world follow you throughout your married moments!
October 29, 2015 — Once again we had the opportunity to film a wedding day on the eastside as we headed to Grosse Pointe and the Grosse Pointe Academy Chapel. Located on beautiful Lake St. Clair, the chapel has the charm and visual beauty found in many of the Pointe’s churches. The exchange of vows kept us on our toes as the lighting in the old chapel changed at times, by the moment. The Academy’s grounds and the lake served as the backdrop for our photo and video shoots. We moved on to the Blossom Heath Inn in St. Clair Shores where the party started early and finished late. The food, dancing and toasts were among the best of the year. Gosh, what an amazing day! Sarah and Matt thank you and we wish you all the best!

July 27, 2015 — One of the prettiest spring days in awhile found us at St. John’s Chapel in Plymouth where we had the pleasure of filming Dan and Kristen’s very special wedding day. The ceremony was as poignant and beautiful as many weddings at St. John’s are and we found ourselves immersed in the moment as the couple exchanged their vows in front of many family and friends, some of whom traveled a great distance to share their celebration of love. The rest of the day was a whirlwind as we stayed on the grounds for photo’s, video and to continue the celebration. The reception in the Atrium was filled with wonderful speeches, great food and an evening of incredible music and dancing. Dan and Kristen thank you and we wish you all the best for many years of happiness!
June 18, 2015 — We kicked off the 2015 wedding season at Dearborn Divine Child Catholic Church. We have filmed many weddings at this amazing venue and it was especially beautiful as spring bloomed all around. The ceremony celebrated a couple very much in love. We headed downtown for photo’s and video and were treated to some wonderful locations headed by our favorite photographers, Samantha and Brian of A Thousand Words. We even had a humorous encounter with the good men and women of the Detroit Police Department. The Reception back at the Henry in Dearborn featured wonderful food, live music and a unique photo booth. However, the highlight of the evening was the bride’s father serenading her during his toast. There was not a dry eye in the room. Jennifer and Michael, we wish you all the best for a lifetime of happiness!
